National CASA reports the cost of recruiting, training, supervising and retaining a CASA volunteer is $875/volunteer. FY2010, 52 volunteers served 105 children. On average, there is almost 100 children in the care of Houston County Department of Family and Children Services. With the support of CASA we have drastically reduced this number to half in a span of 3 years. A special thanks to ALL who supported and continue to support CASA of Houston County, Inc. - especially the Volunteer ADVOCATES!!!
